Investigators confirm that three explosive devices were found on a Metro bus. The driver noticed the suspicious cannisters left on the bus Monday evening. The bomb squad was called to the bus on Wexford Drive in Sycamore Township. There were no passengers on the bus at the time. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Hazardous Devices Unit has determined the three cardboard cylinders each contained a high grade flash powder with an internal fuse that would explode when exposed to an external heat source.

How dangerous are they?

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office: "Depending on environmental factors, the devices could cause any where from minor damage to severe damage. For example, one device exploding in a person's hand would basically cause severe damage to the hand. All three devices exploding immediately adjacent to or under a human could cause severe damage to the individual and possibly death. All three devices exploding at the same time on or under an empty bus seat would destroy that seat but would not destroy the bus."
